I recently completed my online trainer certification, and while I love teaching and training locally I'm also super excited to begin serving people in the online space with their health & fitness goals! Looking forward to taking online clients in the near future 🙌🏻

Like my decision to get a keratin hair treatment!! OMGoodness...why did I wait so long?! 🤯

Seriously stoked about transforming my C R A Z Y wavy, frizzy hair into this silky smooth curtain of pure joy, haha! Especially since the waves are only at the back of my head and have intensified with each pregnancy! Oh hormones... 🤪

I had obviously lightened my hair after this "before" photo and before the keratin, but I am pleased as punch with how it all turned out.

Now for the haircut... @hairbyhinote I'm comin' for ya 💇🏼‍♀️ 😁

Emphasis on the WILL! Anyone CAN do hard things, but who WILL do them?

And what are the "hard things"? This answer may be more obvious to some than to others, but think of your goals...and think of the "hard things" it will take to achieve the result you want.

Set yourself up for success by having a "SMART Goals" system in place so you can break those hard things down into bite-sized, manageable tasks that you can chip away at! You may even find that you are RAVENOUS and will chomp down those bite-sized steps in no time!

Not aware of the SMART acronym? No worries! Here's what you need to know 👇🏻

S - specific

M - measurable

A - attainable

R - relevant

T - time-bound

In a nutshell 🌰, you need to be SPECIFIC and detailed about your goal and be sure you can MEASURE what you want to change or achieve. Then you need to make sure it's ATTAINABLE, meaning you have the skills and resources to make it happen. Next is RELEVANT...this is your "why" behind this goal and how it's important to you.
Last is TIME-BOUND. Put a realistic deadline on your goal! We all know that it's extra motivating when we have a date set for achieving something. And if you want a PDF to set your own SMART goals, I have one for you! Just shoot me a message with your email and I'll send it on over! No strings attached 😉

So, next time hard things come around or when you are setting a SMART goal ...instead of saying "Yes, I can do this!" resolve to say, "Yes, I WILL do this!" 😎

Treating myself while the twins are in their last

Treating myself while the twins are in their last couple days of preschool 😁. I enjoyed a class at @hotspotpoweryoga and then walked down to @flajuiceandbowl .

This lox toast was divine and the juice was delicious...the best I've had with beet juice, meaning it did not taste like dirt 😉

I hope you all have a glorious weekend!!! 🎉

Saturday fitness test paperwork awaiting my ladies at our program halfway point!

It went great and I know RESULTS ARE IN THE WORKS! Keep it up, girls. You're killing it and inspiring others in the process 💪🏼❤️ 🙌🏻

Little wins, you guys! Just taking note that I see

Little wins, you guys! Just taking note that I see a slightly bigger bulge here in my lower quads. You see, I have been working on building muscle mass in the lower quad region, primarily focusing on that vastus medialis "teardrop" muscle.

Sure, for some aesthetic appeal...I have some pretty strong adductors on top so it's nice to balance it out with some heft on the bottom, but MAINLY I have been wanting to build the musculature surrounding the knee joint to provide more stability and strength during my runs (I have been experiencing mild—but nagging—intermittent knee pain on one side after heavier runs).

So here's to progress with a hint of visible results! 🙌🏻
